I visited Helen in 2011 and it was absolutely beautiful....we tubed down the river....had a great lunch...such a picturesque quaint little town...The surrounding mountains were majestic and ohhhh so green...I totally recommend this place....You cant help but be happy there....Next time i go i will visit the local winieries/vineyards..
