Best getaway place for a couple on a budget. The people who manage the facility are so nice. It's always extremely clean. I look forward to staying in the cabins at least twice a year.

Called to schedule a cabin for the night for my family. Spoke to Tom who said we had the hawks landing or owls roost option. We had credit card in hand and Tom told us to read the rental agreement online first before we pay and call him back. Literally hung up the phone, read the agreement online, and called him back. He didn't answer our phone calls for about 15 minutes. Finally when he did call us back he told us he rented both properties out. Unbelievable! Bad business. Contacted Tangelwood rentals and they went above and beyond to help us. Do not do business with Alpine they will leave your family stranded.
Made reservations via email in January, made my deposit for the reservation, was told everything was good, and I was very excited for my stay. Packed all my bags and called them at 1:00p.m. and they told me they gave away my reservation because I did not reply fast enough to the email they sent me at 11:00 a.m. that same day. I was unaware that they had even sent me the email until they told me. I am upset that they messaged me for confirmation the day I was coming then canceled my resveration 3 hours later. It wasn't even check in time and they gave away my reservation! They told me it was my fault for not calling them or replying to the ONE email they sent me THREE HOURS ago. I feel as though I was not treated fairly at all by these people and I would not recommend doing business with them. If you choose to make a reservation with them, make sure you call them every day a week ahead of time, send them plenty of emails, maybe even send a selfie so they know you're an actual human being and they can look into your eyes as they ruin your vacation plans. If they doubt you at all they'll take the reservation and you'll be S.O.L. However, I was given a refund. (Thanks for that Tom, and look forward to reading your comment back on how it was all my fault and how I didn't read the rental agreement even though I'm pretty sure it says nothing about me calling you by a certain time).
We have been going to Alpine Mountain Cabins for years absolutely love it and love Tom. We have stayed in several of the cabins and all are beautifully decorated according to the size of the cabins. Tom has ALWAYS been extremely nice and accommodating. He has always kept the cabins extremely clean and updated, couldn't ask for a better place to stay and very reasonable. We LOVE HELEN, GA AND TOM.
